It provides peer reviewed scientific studies and articles on a variety of mental health issues that may influence Native Americans to consider suicide, as well as actions of suicide and culturally specific suicide prevention.
  • American Psychological AssociationThis freely accessible database of articles provides information on suicide prevention, suicide statistics, and mental health improvement efforts in Native American communities. It also provides information on the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions that may include suicidal ideation and intention as symptoms, with more nuance to specific factors of cultural impact.
